Biography

Mia Lucci

Mia Lucci is an Australian DJ and producer of Māori and Asian heritage whose sound blends deep grooves, hypnotic percussion and warm melodic textures.

Her career began in Berlin, where she spent five formative years immersed in one of the world's most influential electronic music scenes. During that time she co-founded Kindisch alongside Philipp Jung (M.A.N.D.Y.), the sister label to Get Physical Music, helping establish a home for melodic and forward-thinking house music while releasing her own productions on both labels.

Since then, Mia has performed across Europe, Australia and beyond, with appearances at Robot Heart and White Ocean at Burning Man, Sankeys Ibiza, Flying Circus, Circoloco Australia, Kater Blau and many other respected clubs and festivals. She also hosted her own weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio for three years.

After dedicating several years to raising her two children, Mia returns to music with fresh perspective and renewed creative energy. Her sets remain timeless rather than trend-driven—built around groove, tension and emotion, creating dancefloors that feel intimate, hypnotic and full of connection.

This next chapter isn't about starting over. It's about returning to the place that has always felt like home.

Speaking

Conversations that go beyond music.

As an artist, label co-founder and mother, Mia Lucci brings a perspective shaped by decades in the electronic music industry—both on stage and behind the scenes.

Her talks explore creativity, resilience and the human side of building a life in music, offering honest conversations about the pressures of the industry, mental wellbeing and creating a career that can last.

Speaking Topics

Mental Health in Electronic Music

Breaking the stigma around anxiety, burnout, identity and emotional wellbeing in an industry that often celebrates constant performance while overlooking personal health.

Creativity, Motherhood & Reinvention

Returning to music after stepping away to raise a family, and why reinvention can become an artist's greatest strength.

Building a Sustainable Career

Creating longevity by staying authentic, adapting with purpose and building a career that evolves rather than burns out.

Women in Electronic Music

Leadership, creativity and navigating the industry while helping shape a more inclusive future.

Community Over Competition

How connection, collaboration and genuine relationships create stronger careers than chasing trends.

Why These Conversations Matter

Music has the power to connect people—but the people creating it also need spaces where they can speak honestly.

Mia believes that conversations around mental health, balance and personal growth are just as important as conversations about music itself. By sharing both the highs and the challenges of her own journey, she hopes to encourage a healthier, more sustainable future for artists and the wider creative community.
